The Farmer series was already available in working widths of 12 m and 15 m, and now this is being extended with an 18-metre variant. A newly developed strong main frame including a wing suspension by means of a steel cable system makes the 18 m working width available. The compact design and a centre of gravity close to the slurry tanker also makes the Farmer GEN. II 18 very suitable for retrofitting. The Farmer can be mounted directly on the slurry tanker or on a 4-point linkage.

Wing suspension
The ‘wing suspension system’ by means of a steel cable system works automatically and there are no special prerequisites or requirements for the slurry tank. This system reduces the static and dynamic stress of the wide booms on the frame and on the hydraulic cylinder by at least 50%. The optimal interplay between the forces, which are simultaneously used as a counterweight, boosts the stability and durability of the Farmer GEN. II 18. Hydraulic folding arm extension The Farmer GEN. II 18 has an optional 1.5 m long hydraulically folding arm extension on each side. This reduces the transport length so that the Farmer GEN. II 18 can also be attached to shorter tankers. With these folding arm extensions, the working width can also be reduced from 18 m to 15 m.
