New in the successful Trac-Pack series
The Bomech-Trac-Pack trailing shoe distributor is a compact and stable slurry distributor, especially developed for self-propelled slurry processing machines.
The Bomech Trac-Pack trailing shoe distributor was already available in working widths of 12, 15, 18 and 21 meters, but now also available in 24 meters. Despite these large working width also the Trac-Pack 24 has a transport width of only 2.99 meters. Due to its compact design and a centre of gravity close to the transport vehicle, the Trac-Pack can be retrofitted to almost any vehicle with a lift.
Folding behind the self-propelled slurry machine
The challenge with self-propelled slurry machines is to be able to mount slurry distributors with a large working width. It is often not possible to fold in sideways within the maximum, legally permissible, outer width. As the tankers are often too short and too wide and thus exceeding the approved transport width. For safe and responsible transport, the only remaining option is to fold the distributor compactly behind the self-propelled machine.
Output capacity up to 12,000 litres p/minute
Self-propelled slurry tankers often have pumps with a very high output capacity per minute. Where the slurry distributor was often the limiting factor, this is no longer the case with a Trac-Pack 24. With an 8″ slurry feed and a slurry distribution using 4 Alrena exact distributors, an output capacity of 12,000 litres per minute is no problem for this new version of the Trac-Pack. The Trac-Pack 21 metres also has 4 Alrena exact distributors in the SV24 version.
Easy to exchange
As self-propelled slurry processing machines are used as efficiently as possible throughout the year, it is often necessary to change between the trailing shoe distributor and e.g. a slurry cultivator or a disc injector several times a year. As the Trac-Pack is simply attached to the 3-, 4- or 5-point linkage (cat. 2 or 3) on to a self-propelled machine, it is also easy to change to other machines within a very short time.
The Trac-Pack 24 is standard fully equipped with:
- 4 Alrena precision macerators
- LED-lighting set
- Hydraulic cylinders with end cushioning
- Integrated suspension system for perfect ground contour following
- Hydraulic suspension system for optimal driving comfort
- output capacity 12.000 litres p/minute
- Mounting options in 3-, 4- or 5-point linkage, cat. 2 and 3
- Section control left and right
- Gate valves under Alrena exact distributors for emptying slurry hoses
Optionally available with: various partial width section controls (mechanical or with compressed air) to reduce working widths and close hoses tramlines, various arm folding possibilities and the possibility to set-up a central lubrication system.
